Group dining - Stac Polly

We have welcomed groups for every occasion and from all over the world. People come to hold wedding meals, Burn's Suppers, graduations, whisky tastings, birthdays, retirements and conference groups. Group menus are available and there is no room hire charge.

Dublin Street restaurant can seat around 90 throughout the various rooms. Groups of between 10 and 50 people can dine privately.

It's best to get in touch to discuss your requirements as every group is different.

DINNER MENU

 

~ Starters ~

Roasted red pepper and vine tomato soup with cucumber, spring onion and garden asparagus salsa, basil oil drizzle

 

Pan-fried wood pigeon breast, carrot and star anise puree, buttered bok choy, crushed walnuts, caramelised baby shallots

 

Baked filo pastry parcels of finest haggis with a homemade sweet plum and red wine sauce

 

Cider and dill cured trout fillet, caper and red onion salsa, crab crème fraiche, gin jelly, dressed micro herbs

 

Sun-blush tomato, chorizo, butternut squash salad, crispy goat’s cheese bonbon, toasted pumpkin seeds

 

Grilled queen scallops (in their shells) topped with a smoked salmon and herb butter crust

 

~ Mains ~

Scottish lamb rump, herb crust, potato pattie, red cabbage confit, steamed broccoli, chervil and Arran mustard sauce

 

Shetland salmon fillet, leek, herb and seaweed salt risotto, spring onion and carrot salad, buttered bok choy, lime and virgin oil dressing

 

Prime Scottish fillet of beef, gratin dauphinoise potato, Stornoway black pudding, broccoli, braised turnip, red wine and thyme jus

Baked fillet of West coast cod, watercress and organic rapeseed oil crushed potatoes, home-smoked mussels, broccoli, spring onion, caper and lemon salsa

 

Crispy duck breast, glazed root vegetable tarte tatin, red onion marmalade, smoked pancetta, blood orange and star anis game jus

 

Spiced cauliflower and coriander cake, Greek yoghurt, tzatziki dressing, steamed green vegetables, pomegranate seeds
